Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and display name, used to create and secure your account.
• Content you create — the data you enter into Manaurum apps (notes, tasks, events, files, etc.), stored so the OS can show it back to you.
• Usage & diagnostics — basic product analytics and error reports, used to keep the service working and improve it.
• Connected services — when you choose to connect a third-party account (e.g. Google Calendar), the data that connection grants, used only for the feature you connected it for (see below).

Google Calendar data

When you connect your Google account, Manaurum requests access to your Google Calendar — calendar.readonly to read your events, and calendar.events to create and update events you make in Manaurum. We use this access solely to: (a) display your events inside the Manaurum calendar and help plan your day around them, and (b) mirror events you create in Manaurum to your Google Calendar.

Manaurum’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do notsell this data, use it for advertising, or let humans read it — except (i) with your explicit consent, (ii) for security, abuse prevention, or to comply with the law, or (iii) where the data has been aggregated and anonymized. Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest, and you can disconnect at any time from the calendar’s Connect panel, which immediately stops all access.

How we use your data

• To provide the OS and the apps you use within it.
• To secure your account and prevent abuse.
• To diagnose problems and improve the product.
• To power features you explicitly enable, such as connected-calendar sync.

Storage & security

Your data is stored on our self-managed servers. Sensitive credentials (such as third-party access tokens) are encrypted at rest. Access is isolated per tenant. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We use a small number of service providers to operate Manaurum — for example, infrastructure hosting, error monitoring, and product analytics — who process data only on our behalf and under contract. We may disclose information if required by law.

Where your data is processed

Manaurum runs on our own servers located in the European Union. If you access the service from another country, your data is processed on those EU-based servers.

How long we keep your data

We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active, plus a short period afterwards for backups and to meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we delete your content; connected-service tokens are removed as soon as you disconnect that service.

Children's privacy

Manaurum is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Access & export — request a copy of your data.
• Correct — update inaccurate account information.
• Delete — delete your content or your whole account.
• Disconnect a service — remove a connected account (e.g. Google) from its Connect panel; this immediately revokes Manaurum’s access.
• Withdraw consent — for anything you opted into.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
